Evaporator:
Evaporation is the physical process of converting a liquid into a gas. Generally speaking, an evaporator is an object that converts a liquid substance into a gaseous state. There are a large number of evaporators in the industry, and the evaporator used in the refrigeration system is one of them. The evaporator is a very important part of the four major components of refrigeration. The low-temperature condensed liquid passes through the evaporator to exchange heat with the outside air, vaporizes and absorbs heat, and achieves the effect of refrigeration. The evaporator is mainly composed of a heating chamber and an evaporation chamber. The heating chamber provides the liquid with the heat required for vaporization, and promotes the liquid to boil and vaporize; the vaporization chamber completely separates the gas-liquid two phases.
There are three types of evaporator systems operated by our company, which are multi-effect tube evaporator, plate type evaporator and MVR evaporator.
The multi-effect tubular evaporator evaporates and concentrates the feed liquid, and the most commonly used is the falling film evaporator. The feed liquid of the falling film evaporator is added from the top of the evaporator, and descends in a film-like shape along the tube wall under the action of gravity, and evaporates and thickens in the process, and the concentrated liquid is obtained at the bottom. Falling film evaporators can evaporate materials with higher concentration and higher viscosity. In addition, falling film evaporators have the characteristics of high heat transfer coefficient and short residence time. Falling film evaporators are widely used in the evaporation and concentration of water or organic solvent solutions in medicine, food, chemical industry, light industry and other industries, and can be widely used in waste liquid treatment in the above industries. It is especially suitable for heat-sensitive materials. The equipment operates continuously under vacuum and low temperature conditions. It has high evaporation capacity, energy saving and consumption reduction, low operating cost, and can ensure that the material does not change during the evaporation process.
The wiped-blade evaporator is a single-pass evaporator that uses external force to form a film. Scraper evaporator has high evaporation efficiency, large capacity, and short residence time of material and liquid, which can realize low temperature evaporation under vacuum conditions, and is suitable for continuous production. Scraper evaporators are widely used in petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical and other industries, especially for materials with high viscosity (such as tannin extract, honey, etc.) and materials that are easy to crystallize, scale, and heat sensitive.
MVR evaporator is different from ordinary single-effect falling film or multi-effect falling film evaporator. MVR is a single evaporator, which integrates multiple effect falling film evaporators. The equipment uses low-temperature and low-pressure steaming technology and clean energy to generate steam for energy, and separates the water in the medium. It is an international advanced evaporation technology and an upgraded product to replace traditional evaporators. MVR evaporator has low operating cost, small footprint, simple process and strong practicability, especially suitable for heat-sensitive materials.
